Speaker? hihihi...sioni!!! why would he do this yet he can take a stab at DPs position? unless you tell me he has been unemployed for sometime now and he knows that the side he is in right now will not succeed. sioni

Wacha watu wajibabe. Why would somebody like Kalonzo contest presidency, then become speaker? Anyway that lineup is pro mt. kenya and anti rift valley in terms of winner take all mentality in Kenya!!!

how should the line up have been to avoid winner takes it all?

let's face it - the most brilliant things our constitution came up with were
1) limiting the number of positions politicians can horse trade
2) forcing the politician to vie for one and only one seat

So I look at Batman, Melon, Wailer, MaDVD , Bupamba and Uhunye - all with presidential ambitions and some people like Bupamba and Uhunye cannot take DP position and I ask myself - hawa watu watajipanga aje? halafu usikie governor no 1. ameanza kupata ideas... kwisa!

There is also the Third Way Alliance which is a CORDED ploy to divide the votes and force a run off.

I am slow today. In the first round, the winner has to ganner 50+1 votes. In a run off, it's a simple winner. That is my understanding. Now, how will CORD stop the other party from winning a simple majoritySad
