And why cant the LUOs retaliate by raiding the Nandis? Wanaogopa nini? Kila wakati ni kuibiwo kunakokucha. The current and past clashes are always as a result of that retaliation.Take for instance the current case.Luos armed and went up the hills to recover the stolen cattle and on failure to trace them rounded up a few Nandi owned herds they found on their way back and then the battle started. So the victims are supposed to take a deep breath and remain calm, and not retaliate, when their livestock are stolen?

The Garment should take responsibility and restore peace hukos. i.am.back!!!!

I gather Ole Kaparo and his cohesion team will be at ground Zero(Kibigori Junction market)not far from Majimbo Kesho Morning for reconcilliation.Hope it works this time coz witnessed many such forums convened by former Nyanza PCs. The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.

I remember even the legend of luanda magere gave us a glimpse of the conflict between these two communities. a couple of weeks back I was near ground zero and couldn't help but feel those hills made the Luos in the lake basin sitting ducks to attacks from the Nandi's on the hills. These nandi kaleos only like fighting at night, let them attack the LUOz and they will see cha mtema kuni. I remember how we tamed APs who were in Citihoppa and had come to vote for Kibaki in Kisumu, let the Kalenjin cattle rustlers be warned.
