One of the survivors, Mr Abdirashid Adan who is admitted to Mandera County Referral Hospital said the attackers scattered when they heard the sound of an oncoming lorry.

“We were forced to stop after they shot at our bus. One of the bullets injured me in the buttocks. We alighted but one person attempted to run away and was shot dead,” Mr Adan said.

He went on: “As the attackers started separating passengers according to their religions, we heard the sound of an oncoming lorry. They all ran back into the bush thinking it was police. After realizing it was not police, they stopped the lorry as we dashed back into the bus and sped off.”

I can assure you, there is nothing in the teachings of Jesus Christ, there is nothing in the teachings of Muhammad, about killing innocent life... It is not there.

@mukiri, for many years now, again and again I repeat, killing of innocent life is forbidden in Islam. That kind of behaviour is not in the practice according to teachings of Quran and Prophet's sayings (Hadith). Anyone who does this, Allah (God Almighty) will not look at them on the Day of Judgment, and Allah (God) will put them into the Hell fire... except for those who repent. As those who repent Allah will accept their repentance.

I will tell you again, no religion approves such behaviour. Even the way of Jesus Christ is not like this. So if I see anyone calling himself a Christian doing this, I will tell him you are not following Christianity. And similarly, if I hear any person doing this and calling himself a Muslim, I will tell him to go tell it to the birds. Jesus (pbuh) never taught such things, Muhammad (pbuh) never taught such things.

Kudos to those Muslims for showing solidarity with the fellow brothers and sisters in humanity.

So wake up bro from misconceptions and we join hands in fighting this thing which is trying to divide us.

At the end of the day it comes down to individuals not religion, otherwise people interpret the latter differently.
