@ Njung'e and Moibutu,

There has to be some form of responsibility, especially in response to matters related to public finance. Reducing an attempted theft of over 9b ( assuming they will stop it) to past cases or that RAO's bro was there does not solve the main problem.

Preparation of supplementary budget is a serious matter that is never handled in a pub. It is not a one-mans job and neither is it get is quick affair. UK,as the head of the ministry, should take responsibility for attempting to fleece Kenyans.

We cant take typos excuses on public finance, and not when the economy is performing target.

thought the finance committee in parliament is investigating the matter. typhos or no typhos,i'd rather wait for their findings

UK lacks the seriousness to run such a key ministry. On top of that he has never had to budget for anything having been born with the silverspoon stuck up his a*se,why MK would give him this ministry is beyond reason.

I bet he does not even understand why the gava is wasting his time with budgets.

Why can't MK find him a low level ministry where he can get drunk and quietly organise his Mungiki brigades

I was amazed when he rose to tell the speaker that according to him,the matter was closed.......Marende was shaking...almost chewing the wig in rage....

@Njunge,with all due respect, the two cases cannot be compared and I suspect that you have sprung to the defence of you tribesmate or maybe distant relative without diligently contemplating the issue at hand. Is this 'Obi'- kind of reaction stemming from a hard-wired reflex? No answer needed.

UK has all the reasons to be crucified, for attempted theft. And I also suspect he was not alone.

UK is apparently blaming the computer for the error.

Sounds like steve carell in the US sitcom -The Office.

MK threw wood by appointing UK to head that Ministry. He should have picked Peter Kenneth. I'm sure he would be doing a sterling job

This is getting absurd by the minute, now the mafia through its Nationmedia mouthpiece is insinuating that this attempted daylight robbery was 'sabotage'. Please save us the hubris,Uhuru strongly defended this 9.2B,dismissed Imanyara as missinformed and full of malice,so was Uhuru part of the 'sabotage'?

What I see here is an attempt by the mafia to shift the blame from Uhuru to typos, computer bug, treasury technocrats and now sabotage. Lets for a minute give him the benefit of the doubt and assume that it was not an attempted robbery. Should the finance minister be this incompetent and clueless about such a crucial issue within his ministry? Hell no,Kiguoya should fire Uhuru at least for being incompetent. I understand the unwritten rule that the finance minister must be a Gema, the least that Kenyans expect is a competent Geman to lead this crucial ministry.

Oh boy! I just love your blinkers!! It never occured to you that sabotage could be a possibility, well now you have to meza wembe or do whatever you wanna do. Next time i suggest you stick to simpler things that you can easily grasp e.g picking your nose, biting your nails, wanking etc etc

Mainat,if you actually believe that its fashionable to keep on referring to the old man as gen. Kiguoya,i'm confirming to you right now that its not. Its actually the opposite of clever.

Oh,& just because you live in london doesn’t make you a more special Kenyan than those in Kenya.

And finally, you are just a snob,I derive absolutely no pleasure or satisfaction from kicking the behinds of snobs like you

UK was caught with his hand in the cookie jar. He was very arrogant when this came out and now he's giving a new excuse every day,1st it was a typo now its sabotage he's not convincing. Well everyone knows who runs finance in Kenya,Gen kiguoya couldn't let it go,no way. Mshamba give us a break,I could kick your ragged *ss myself.

Whatever the reason uhuru f***ed up he should step down or be fired.
In all the reasons from sabotage to computer error to typos the man who is ultimately responsible is uhuru and as such should step down or be fired for incompetence.
Stupidity is a dangerous thing to have in any adult but in a finance minister stupidity should not be condoned.
@mshamba is there a reason you are defending uhuru or is baseless tribalism. If you cant have civil responses the least you can do is be quiet.
