He is not 88.However whatever his age, once somebody is out of service due to retirement age,he should move on and do what other retirees do.There is a reason why retirement was set at 55 or 60.

Sister Angelica-Ann:Committee or not a younger person would have done it and they are there kikuyu or otherwise.

This is a minus for Jubilee.

Meanwhile Thankyou Mawainder for your confidence in me (#despitekikuyuwoman).I guess now I can say "My people have prevailed upon me...blah blah blah"

...The guy is very sharp...Very brilliant and a performer, his age not withstanding. I have no problem with Old people getting jobs. The so called young turks are very useless and cant get stuff done. Leave us alone!!!!

Applause Applause Si unaona hawa young turks Kina Keter na Melly vile wanafanya?

The only job you can begin from the top is digging a hole...whatever hole it is!

Kibaki and jomo kenyatta ruled us when they were old and we made some strides in the right direction. Moi assumed power when he was young and hef***ed everybody, everything...The current leaders can not even solve a simple problem like traffic jam and boda bodas in the city...and tell me it is not their job because it is...

Are you sure he is 88? If indeed he is, he should be looking after his herd, closely monitoring the one that has cut on milk production and playing with his grand children.

agreed. He doesn't look 88.

Professors never retire. Their knowledge and wisdom is required by society. Only death makes them 'retire' eg Prof Ali Mazrui.

Kenyans are just bloody funny? Judging a person by his/her age instead of ability is just plain ridiculous!!!

This guy is a performer, is intelligent and has a proven track record. On the other hand, some of the so called 'young turks' people elected into office are useless idiots!!!

Challenge individuals on their abilities not age/religion/tribe/race etc.

We should be complaining if someone who cannot do the job has been given one.

Watu watembee waone mambo. Like in the US, people in their 70s and 80s are gainfully employed! It is only in Kenya where people imagine you should stop thinking when you hit 55 or 60.
Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.
Lolest!

So @RAO at 72 in 2017 will be a perfect choice for progressive Kenyans?

The prof does not look 88 but if he is, then he should give some tips since Njonjo has refused to do so.
