Neither does a baby start running when he/she should be crawling. Kenyans are not known for their patience and this could be our Achilles heel in devolution. We want everything NOW!

Devolution as construed in the pre-constitution bomas talks was about power back to the people but what we really need is resources to be available to the people mashinani and everywhere else. The thing is for Kenyans to stop thinking that there is an end to development such that it needs to happen NOW!
