I dont want to even imagine how the Post Election would have been if we had these groups in place, unless am not understanding the model very well. Mtu anifafanulie.

My understanding is that the youth will be utilised in projects like water projects na ghadhaligha. They save money and then invest after having completed their term. Not bad, so long as everyone doesn't buy a motorbike at completion

So it will be like youth groups hivi?

I thought so too, let us see the blue print first. Who has seen Rugut's master plan that the others copied!

Some of us are old enough to remember Youth for Kanu.

I don't want youth for Kanu. NYS should stick to what Moi intended, a place for the youth to learn skills.

Right now in Kenya we don't have polytechnics anymore. That NYS would be a good place for our kids to learn simple carpentry.

Who are these people in this gov't. Former Youth for Kanu Members?

Not learn how to create and fund a mungiki clan.

Ati we don't have polytechnics?Existing Technically training institutes offer courses like carpentry and masonry but today's youth have refused to enroll. Everyone is rushing to study IT and business courses

This scheme should start soonest. The number of the unemployed youth is is very high and also rising fast. this is a security threat whether or not the youth are inside or outside the mungiki. It is sad to see that some of you don't want to see the youth organised terming it creating a monster. The monster is already here, all we need is to tame it.

just like we have tamed mungiki.

No more Kanu Youth in the name of helping. We have been there, we lived it, and I'm sure as hell will never support it.

Mungiki organised by gov't nkt!

Mungiki is for the kikuyus . You should start concocting names for the other 41 tribes because there is a possibility this thing is coming.
