A friend of mine has a Schwannoma and has been quoted 800,000/- for removal. Are there any medics or people with experience who know of a cheaper option?

Pole sana .

With due respect to our doctors but for such cases I recommend India.

They have more experience than we do, necessary equipment and above all pocket friendly.

That quote could reduce to 500k airfare included.

All the best and good luck.God bless.

This is a myth. When all is said and done, note that those hospitals in india are businesses. Those costs they quote are ridiculously suspect. Plus, their nursing care is poor and most patients return with post operative complications. I would rather have my treatment here anyday.
A friend when to india for training and was shocked that some of these centres dont even use international treatment protocols

She finally went with Aga Khan who quoted about 800k and will operate with 400k deposit. India was more expensive.
