Facts speak for themselves GDP growth under Moi was as high as 6.982% in 1986 and 6.091% in 1989 under Kibaki the highest GDP growth was 6.993% in 2007.

Kwani improvement kwa economy na watu wa machinani hawaioni? Nani alijenga stadia? Another thing, during Moi's tenure, he had the toughest opposition. Lastly, what did Kibs do before 2008?

When the economy improves, things only work well to those who are working hard not to those who are sleeping in bed. Even if we were to forget everything else, we cannot forget what happened to the Milk Prices when Kibaki took over. And this benefited watu wa machinani. May be watu wa machinani wa kwenyu did not benefit because they do not see this as anything worthy. The banking sector is another example and those old wazees of machinani also benefitted. Road were not olnly build in Nairobi, Electricity connection to machinani was no longer a privilege during Kibaki's tenure unlike during Moi's time where he could order removal of electricity poles just because you did not vote for him. Kibaki tried hard to uplift the lives of all Kenyan's but failed Politically because he assumed he was leading Men and women as intelligent as he was.

Moi cared more of personal praise and worship and though the more the people who would sing praises to him regardless of whether they meant it or not, the better the country was doing. He had an inferiority complex and needed people to keep repeating how great he was to be reassured. Kibaki was so confident of himself that he got annoyed if you tried to sing praises for him.

I think you were born yesterday. The freedom that you have now was no where under Moi. Moi thrived because of Kenyan's ignorance and dictator tendencies. He made sure that It is only government contolled KBC and his Television Owned KTN that would broadcast in Kenya so that Kenyans would for ever live in ignorance. If you had your own mind, you would be killed. He had no plans for anything and never offered focused leadership in terms of development. Example is the Road Bypasses in Nairobi which were designed during Kenyatta's time and never got implemented. Kibaki offered focused development leadership and defines where we are going and what we should be doing. All big development project now being started by Uhuru, those continuing and those being launched after completion were planned during Kibakis Tenure and this will continue for the next several years.
