i think the president is the only one who can fight this evils by showing the door to any senior government official whose money cannot be accounted for since that is fraud

up and until people start being sent to jail for these things, its bad for the country

why are we borrowing so much money, sijui soverign bonds, sijui taxing unga to raise a mere additional sh 10b in VAT while people cannot explain how a third of the budget was used sh 338B

Unaccounted does not mean the money is lost- just means money has been issued but the 'how it was spent' has not been explained.

This is really sickening. To think that the money that I work so hard for (only for the gavaa to steal from me) is again stolen by some idiot somewhere! What smelly bull faeces is that!!

We were very frustrated by their (accounting officers) deliberate efforts to deny us information — Edward Ouko, Auditor General

To imagine even if a half or third of that money is actually stolen..SMH

Create your own heaven. Our government is no better than the AL-Shabab. Problem is they are part of you. I accepted that and moved on. Now I only have necessary contact with them. I don't live in any of the big cities. This has reduced my association with them to the bare minimum. There's totally nothing you can do about the unaccounted billions unless you are PORK

Pointing at the President is a most convenient way for reinforcing corruption.

If we are really sincere about corruption then we should be able to see our own corruption and overcome it. And doing this would mean restructuring our personality. A difficult task. Perhaps we have less will than the president.
