@Mcreggae and tandich.... the argument is simple; if Raila met with Obama (not on the corridors) and had some constructive discussions where are the details?

2ndly Nation was clear where they got their info from; referenced ''President'' Rannerberger !!

This standard ''kids'' are merely seeking cheap publicity!! Period!

I don't even know how this has turned out to be a discussion. Standard is a useless tabloid fighting for survival as it's place has been taken over by The Star.

Bright and interesting people talk about ideas.
Those of average intelligence talk about things.
Stupid people talk about other people.

@McReggae

v There is something fishy about the way Standard wrote the story. That is what we should be discussing here. Even New York Times at times writes stories which it cannot substantiate.

v So,what is all this about photos posted on the Net,Idah not looking like the second/third lady,Obama appears to have been pasted on the set,Only one picture was taken or where are the others,no story on what this guys discussed except what Onyango fed the Standard on Ringera,excuse me.

v Someone,give us the link to that website where pictures were posted or is it under heavy security?

v Otherwise,am left with no option but to conclude that what Standard gave us is Journalism at its worst.

I think The Standard is a gun for hire and would not make the cut where professional journalism is concerned. Many of the stories they run lack in meritocracy,but I guess you can never fault them for that.At the end of the day,as any other business entity,they need to bring in the Cheddah. Having said that,I think,no Kenyan should be seen to rejoice at the humiliation of another.As Kenyans,we should forge a united front on matters national and international.The adage,United we Stand and Divided we Fall holds true more so now,as we smart from the threat of nationhood that was posed by the PEV.
