Yes, probably, there are marked boundaries which you "ought" to live by.

The boundaries are neither entirely good nor bad. Nevertheless, whether to live within the fence or not,is your "choice."

'These are our idols. Choose any one of them, and you'll be happy. We will esteem you'.

The girls, the toys. The dancing and the laughter: fashion and trends.

'The sky is the limit'. That's the furthest we can see.

And when you feel so bad about yourself, you can have some brandy to warm you up. Get giddy and stagger and fall. And blame it all on the brandy.

Or you can wank yourself dry. The bitches are too slippery.

When you die, there'll definitely be an elegy. You won't lack a send off.

'Then beyond the fence you shall be judged according to what you did and said from from within'.

Oh. The chains on my neck, wrists and legs!

Even my fart is part of the fence!

Shame. Crying and gnashing of teeth. Where's Lazarus to quench my burning? I hope he remembers, all the bones I threw him.

I have read this piece 5 times na bado sishiki.

Is it me who is below average or the writer is outside the normal distribution space.

Aii ! Tycho go slow on some of us.

Have a reflective and blessed sunday.

I doubt whether there can be an 'ought' where there's 'neither goodness nor badness' and 'choice'.

But it is so easy to feel the 'ought'. Like in the case of the 'ugly duckling'. The ought is the culture and set of values. 'I ought to swim in the pond'.

But the ought is a construct. The 'need' to belong. A quest for harmony and happiness perhaps.

In the 'end', only, 'superconsciousness' will do. The duckling becomes the eagle, and is no longer afraid of being alone. It's not about 'choosing', it's about 'being'.

Thank you @Ngong. It's easy to describe what you can see. So if there's a gift, it is that of sight. And as Kabalists say, 'the light is always there, it's us who haven't built our capacities yet'.

Thank you for the Sunday blessings, @BigChick. Understanding seems to be about 'tools' than distribution curves. The curve is a fence in itself.
