RAO lost for two simple reasons 1.When UhuRuto were mobilizing people in their strong holds to register as voters RAO was attacking their personalities 2.By attacking UhuRuto personally RAO ensured he became a Raia since the kinsmen of UhuRuto felt they had an obligation to protect their own who were under attack. Hence the 500K voters who ought to have voted for PK and MK ended up voting for UhuRuto The man who marries a beautiful woman, and the farmer who grows corn by the roadside have the same problem

The kalenjin did him in .it was obvious such a large block without a presidential candidate whoever they backed would have been guarranteed a runoff even MDVD.Had OAR realised the kales were done with him he would have scartered them by sponsoring heavy weights from the region like sally or henry kosgey in the north rift and bett in the south as presidential candidates.It was political strategic blunder among the kales that cost him the presidency.

I dint vote for any of these two tribal clowns(don't practice primitive loyalty), mnawajua! but the reason i think one lost is that the the looser is not not a MAN OF HONOR, he should not have left the winner's ranning mate to surfer alone in ICC, it was becauce of him that he was even there in the first place. as for the winner, 1+1=2, no two ways about it, NUMBERS DON'T LIE. Raila lost the 2013 election in 2007.
In contrast, Uhuru won the 2013 election in 2002 and secured the win in 2005 and 2007.
And I can offer a prediction that Raila's actions in 2013 have ensured that he will lose in 2017 if he runs again.
Strategy, ladies and gentlemen, is what wins presidential elections. Strategy. And Raila is horrible at strategy - he is too shortsighted!
