78K is too little for someone representing a ward of 10,000 people. Seriously fuel alone takes up everything.

Corruption is in no way related to one's salary.There are numerous scandals world over to prove this.

County should have had their pay based on the county they represent!!!!

IMO a corrupt person will still be corrupt even if they are earning 1m.
In a place where thought is abandoned, freedom can become a curse.

A GROSS OF 120K GIVES THEM A NET OF ABOUT 91K.

Not bad compared to former Councillors. Only that those in upcountry will be more advantaged as the cost of living is much less compared to Nairobbery.

Hiyo ni mingi.They should earn a maximum gross of 35k since they don't have any experience and do not even know their roles as prior to being elected they were idlers,if dissatisfied let them resign and apply for vacancies in the dailies where there are jobs that pay as high as 2m a month.

Yes.How much do these kanjoras pay their domestic staff and where did they get funds to print posters,hire noisemaking trucks,pay the nomination fees,buy branded shirts etc?These are fellows whose job is to attend funerals and clap when the governor speaks.
