The lobbying to have a unanimous decision by the SC was plain wrong.

Who did the lobbying?

Logging off in a few minutes and may not be able to take this arguement to the full length.....on the hindsight given what had been planned, I think the SC had to announce as they did!!!

.......do you think in 2017 somebody will take a presidential petition to the high court???

Am missing the point here....so the only way the judges would have been right is if they ruled in favor of the petitioner?

So much is hidden from Wanjiku in Kenya,

I just asked a simple question.....your honest answer???

Come to think about it, the most imposrtant decision is what they tell the country in the 14 day window period......not some details they wanna avail in two weeks which have no bearing on the petition that was placed at the SC.

......us on the other side have agreed to live with it, we ask you to also trust them in the future, you defy and we shall always remind you of the Mutunga Unanimous of 2013!!!!

PEACE!!

Merriam-Webster dictionary defines 'UNANIMOUS' as follows;

My question is, wasn't there one single judge who had a dissenting view?
oooh...and my new rank is chief...

supreme courts rarely have unanimous verdicts. even in AlGore's petition, it was a majority vote. same as the hague pre-trial, one judge hans kaal never felt there was sufficient evidence.
but in my opinion, the re-tallying exposed several discrepancies. how could they rule the election was free and fair and transparent despite those findings? someone tell me the excat meaning of free, fair and transparent.d'oh!

Not necessarily according to one lawyer on NTV -Kanjama on such sensitive cases the Judges may vote but choose not to reveal hence the choice of 'unanimous'.

...Stopped watching TV after the unanimous decision and hence missed that part of 'education'. Is there a law that demands a revelation of who voted which way?. I think it is important to know how our judges think on matters of national importance.

So you think it was 3-3 which was before-hand agreed to mean status quo? d'oh! d'oh!

I don't think it was unanimous but then again The Mutunga court had to appear a united court. My view. That MP is wasting his time.

Then 'majority decision' would have been better...

The evidence rebuttal gave them no choice than to vote the way they did. The judges are no ones fanatics and they are there to serve 40 million Kenyans!

I believe the unanimous decision. Can someone tell me an accusation the petitioner advanced which was not explained satisfactorily by Ngatia and Amdenasi... and their teams. Failure of electronic system could not have altered the outcome, sharing of Kencall server could not have altered the outcome, discrepancies in the tally scrutiny was acknowledged and corrected by IEBC (IEBC had affidavits) ..... someone give me one thing please...

Let us give them a chance. i guess they are now busy giving their reasons for their decision and support the ruling. They must bring something water tight to uphold their integrity. I trust CJ.
