My crystal ball says that WR very probably laid a condition of UKs support for his run as President in 2017. WR is not the sort to wait 10 years to be handed the presidency ticket esp when a retiring pres wont give 2 craps.
That support wont be coming, ergo RAO and WR become fast friends again. ..And to sweeten the pot, RAO will only be eligible for one more run cause of the 75 years age limit.
Makes ZERO sense! That would mean WSR would have to wait till 2022 - the same 10 years you are talking about - and be stuck with a retiring president - same problem you talk about!
My opinion is that Uhuru can easily do 10 years if he wants. He just has to give Ruto the power/responsibility/authority and respect he deserves and he will gladly support his re-election bid in 2017. And he [Uhuru] must be willing to give more than he recieves. Ruto obviously knows a [healthy] bird in hand is worth two in the bush. He will also have something to lose in 2017 if Uhuru gives "it" to him. Common sense!
Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.
