I think we kenyans have a problem with addressing issues in the prism of others. As in I never do wrong its always the gov that is to blame. Its the high time we took responsibility for our actions. As Mwakwere rightly said u shouldnt blame him for an accident. Why do we focus so much att to his ministry? may b we r judging or benchmarking him on Michuki. was the latter in any way manning our roads. Wakenya sis hupenda bakora ndio tutii.I totally support mr. t

I can tell you for a fact Mwakwere definitely has interests in the project. Plus there is a struggle going on between KRA and the Ministry concerning issuance of DLs. The project will require overhauling the Traffic Act whils denying KRA millions in licence fees.

Even as the new driving licence is a way 2 end impunity on our road, let's realize that 2 streamline things we need 2 take a multi-faceted approach. One of the ways i would recommend is having another TJRC (Truth justice and reconciliation commision) this time specifically for road offences. Kila mtu aseme u'kubafu alifanya kwa barabara. We confess everything from kutukanana kwa barabara, kuonyeshana middle fingers,ku'overlap, kufungiana, kuruka mataa, kutosimamia watu kwa zebra x'ing, kupeana hongo etc then we after we excecute all matatu drivers, beat up the other repeat offenderz and forgive the otherz (i wonder who will be in the 'forgiven' group!). Then n only then will we curb the road menace.

I gladly give bribes to traffic cops when i know im commiting a traffic offence simply because it saves me the time, money and other hustles of going about it in the legally prescribed way. And for that,im proud to be Kenyan!

One question. Will the matatu drivers exchange their licenses at KRA or in River Road - where they got them in the first place?
Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.

Gladly give bribes,I agree I have been gulty before but I have NEVER been glad to give bribes!!!!

The chief value of money lies in the fact that one lives in a world in which it is overestimated.

What does Makwere have that we don't see?
He commands no respect at the Coast and brought no votes from there.
He's probably the worst Minister and most retrogressive. From road carnage, rail is not working efficiently, trailers overloading at KPA and destroying our roads, matatus no longer have speed governors...
Just what does this idiot have that we don't see?

ili iwe funzo...
