Armchair expert!!!

voting will most likely extend late into the night depending on turnout in certain areas
as the IEBC chair said anybody on the queue will be allowed to vote but i doubt it will spillover to the next day
counting will be another thing all together results in certain areas may take longer to be announcedsmile

Many polling booths and streams can alleviate the problem depending on the number of voters per stream. We are assuming that that's what they'll do.Also donot forget the extra education or help required to explain to the many voters the additional positions.

In simple terms, it cannot take same time to vote for 3 persons previously vs 6 currently. Unless the resources and efficiency of IEBC is doubled.

Let's wait n see

Hahahaha, will the queue stop to let one person finish the 7.5mins....it's a conitnous process...jinga expert!!!!

@McReggae...you leave everyone speechless on this site. Do you understand the concept of averages? Some people are below 7.5 min and others above 7.5 min....leading to an average.
To be honest, someone in CORD has to give you a job just for your pure, unrestricted passion, if nothing else!

The constraint is not the number of stations, but the time each voter spends getting verified, completing and casting ballots. It's the real bottleneck and cannot be changed / controlled...in fact, some were taking 20 min.
The expert was observing an actual experiment / test. That's better information than anyone else.

You are worse than the armchair expert: What do you understand by: The queue will not be stopped for one person to be fully served???.....as somebody is marking the ballot, another is picking, one is applying the ink as the other is at the booth.......sharing in some 7.5mins, One cannot vote for all six and complete before another another comes in. The station will be designed and every minute or half of it one person will be coming out.

@McReggae tell them Applause

Infact, assuming 1 minute per step, the queue will complete 7 people in 8 minutes:
1. When the 1st person is doing step 2, the 2nd person will be doing step 1
2. When the 1st person is doing step 3, the 2nd one step 2 and 3rd person step 1
3. ...
4. ...
5. ...
6. ...
7. So on minute 7:
the 1st person is on step 7,
the 2nd on on step 6,
the 3rd on step 5,
the 4th on step 4,
the 5th on step 3,
the 6th on step 2 and
the 7th on step 1
8. So on 8th minute the first guy is out Whistle

Guys don’t panic – just be at the polling station early and vote (for either of the two horses) and we finish this thing by mid-day and enjoy the beers as the results come in!
