I love this site cz it makes me laugh so much.

Why are you laughing and you are a suspect? Being single at your age and opting to have an affair with wazua is not ideal mental health. *Na usinichape na mawe*

I totally concur. Kenya needs a revolution, something akin to the Aids campaign, to remove the stigma associated with mental health and create awareness thus educating the masses.

Wazua is a wonderful forum. Here we educate ourselves disseminate, information. My faith in God, is one thing that does it for me. The total surrender and humility to my creator gives me peace. Alot of peace. The Bible is a wonderful 'manual' by which I try to live my life... easing alot of pressure. I have also just recently discovered the importance of exercise, the beauty of green juice fasting, enemas, eating right(organic) and laughter yoga.

God + Family + Friends + Principles =Mental Health.
But today I have been physically unwell the whole day.My fingers have been busy typing and reading.
Wazua can bring relief.

Thank you @essyk.

I am sorry that your equation on mental health doesn't add up if you don't account for actual behavior and feelings.

I for one, have met many people who claim to have a personal relationship with God, have families and friends but still have suffered from mental health problems. I even know of some who have died due to mental illness while still proclaiming to have the members of your equation.

Your equation adds up perfectly, don't believe otherwise. Remember the devil is a liar. Kill, steal and destroy! Read this

@Mukiri, and essyk, how then will you reconcile this equation with the many who are suffering?

When you mention God and Principles in the equation, do you imply that they are separate or different?

Where are the neighbors, enemies, workmates, leadership and government, recreation, work and employment?

Does your equation involve pleasure? To who?

How can the equation be used to give mental health care?

If you intend to use your own understanding to figure out this, then you are a fool. God works to His own plan, in His time and according to His own understanding. The Bible is rife with stories of suffering that brought about great things. eg Abraham had to wait years for a child-A generation came forth, Joseph was sold and imprisoned-He became a great ruler, Daniel in a furnace and into a den of lions-came out unscathed, The Lord Jesus Christ, son of God was nailed to a cross-mankind was saved... Someone might have lied to you, that you know something, that you can comprehend things because apparently you can put a verb and noun together... that person is called the devilSad

Now I am lost. You say you support a topic, then you turn around and start launching attacks at a person.

Then you turn against the Scripture you are quoting, and invoke the devil.

The Scripture posits that the act of creation involved verbs and nouns, that Man is capable of knowledge and its use, and that God's spirit is of a sound mind.

How then can a Man negate what he so much believes?

Man, seems to have two selves. The existential self, and the mental self.
