This does not go with Jubilee vision for Kenya to be a carbon trading HQ (which i think is extremely visionary). It does not auger well with our conservationist background, it does not do good to wangari maathais vision of a greener Kenya.
I think a better vision for Nairobi and Kenya deserves better than a duplication of some overcrowded industrial city mess. A cleaner, greener, fewer carbon emissions, eco-city should be the way to go, if anything open up the migratory routes for animals in Rongai/Kitengela and Kiserian and plan for a reduced Nairobi city population. Cap the growth and clean up the mess. @Much, what is this carbon you keep talking about? Yours, Mukuru slum resident There is a market people are selling papers just because they plant and have many trees, use clean energy and so they are given real money for reducing the carbon emitted. You can think of being one of the early investors there. For More Information Ras Kienyeji Man
