According to Wanjiku
Equity Bank, Standard Chartered Kenya and Credit Bank topped the list of the most customer-centric lenders in their respective tiers, according to a survey released by the Kenya Bankers Association (KBA) last week.http://www.kba.co.ke/downloads/Customer%20Service.pdf

I'd never touch Equity again. I took a loan with them and it ended up being the most expensive loan I have ever taken.

It never ends.
I left them long ago after discovering this.

My recommendation:
CBA for biz until I find better.

Prime Bank, they bring the tellers to my private offices in short, real mobile banking..A truck comes to collect or bring cash..
CBA bank is very good too..
Shenzi banks are NIC, Stanbic, Kirubi bank, Barclays Bank, etc..
Cheapest bank to run current accounts is DTB..Also good service

Everything on this thread is true.Better the devil that you know..
I tried to open an account with Stanbic uuwi.
They forgot the process halfway and when I checked to inquire, the fellow told me ' I am sorry I chelewad'. I gave up.
I gave it an another shot months later.haa! After we had done 99% of the work ( I was the one pushing and driving the account opening) they left me hanging at the last stage. All I had were numbers that hadn't been activated.Profile not registered. arghh..2 weeks of pushing and calling, I said enough is enough.Till now wako tu behaving like merino sheep. They will not follow up to set up or activate the account. You see, that's NOT normal. It's a sign of things to come. And the way banks keep knocking on clients doors.I even ignore them. Whareva they can keep 'chelewaaring'.No longer interested in their mediocre service.
Will try KCB...based on the reviews here
