Where in that article does he vow to USE his media houses to campaign for Rao?! Did i miss something...

Here you have it...from the article:

Quote:
Businessman SK Macharia said yesterday he will use his media house to back Prime Minister presidential campaign.

Macharia said he will conduct a door-to-door campaign for Raila.

Read again the quotes by Macharia and show me where he say that... How smart people read The Star remains are mystery to me.

SK should avoid mixing business with politics. Does he want to repeat what he did in 2005? I respect his solid stand though, together with the likes of Kuguru and Karanja. Let democracy thrive.

Media houses are allowed to endorse whoever they want. Because there is a difference between endorsement and inciting people kill each other.

i dont see a problem. It is common in democracies for media to endorse their preferred candidates

I don't think it's wrong as long as SK will not require his employees to take up and drum his political view. I think an employee can take this matter to court. Plus I thought public media houses are not supposed to take sides? He could find himself along Sang at the ICC if anything goes wrong.

BBI will solve it

I see him in problems for this unfortunate move. As @richdad says, incase we witness violence around election time,he could find himself in some not so comfortable rooms!

Royal Media is private not public.
