What is he supposed to bring to the table... tribes mate ama? From Your statement, I call tell you you either support one of the other two coalitions. Tuju brings himself to the table of Kenyans with his integrity, development record, honesty, selflessness and the like. I happened to be working with an NGO in Bondo District where Tuju represents Radieda Constituency. I was working with an International NGO and we were implementing a water project in Sakwa. What surprised me is that Tuju through some Italian Donors was implementing a water project so big that ours was appearing like a joke. You said he is a loser. We all know you cannot go against Raila and win in Luo Nyanza. Look at the votes he got in the last elections and tell me if there is anyone who goes against Raila who has even earned even a quarter of what Tuju got. Lets talk...may be I could convert you. "VOTE WITH YOUR BRAIN. VOTE FOR PETER KENNETH AND TUJU. @tassia good question
My Vote will not be wasted. http://kamirithu.com/201...ote-will-not-be-wasted/
great article... "In actual fact what they are saying is that, ‘I will vote for whom everybody else votes’ which effectively translates to ‘my vote doesn’t matter but everyone else’s does’. This is what a wasted vote is." You kill bird...bird dead snake come.

How about that for a slogan
That slogan would lose them more votes than it would gain them.It is insulting. It implies that those who intend to vote other candidates don't use their brains. @ tassia should not be advising PK

This is too harsh on Tuju. It is not his wish to have his people under the rigid control of a 'reformer' who vote in a single file. I would think 'a Tuju' in central province would be an MP just like would be a PK and the lady-of-the-rose It's not intended to be harsh but truth. What are Tuju's strength over let's say Eugine? He didn't even feature in the opinion polls! I also think Rao got a terrible running mate. Kalonzo does not complement his ticket at all. BBI will solve it :)

A man is as good as we make him to be. Everything depends on what 'we' want.
What do I want? I want my businesses to flourish and my will to be unhindered. Can PK help me get what I want? No. Not yet. Tuju? No. Not yet. Muhuruto? No. CORD? No.
So far, it seems like my vote is lying in waste.
But as the character in shamba la wanyama used to say, do I say, 'Nitajitahidi zaidi'.

And as the topic says, we MUST vote wisely this time especially now that we have struck the black gold. This oil will either see us prosper or perish. BBI will solve it :)

But as the character in shamba la wanyama used to say, do I say, 'Nitajitahidi zaidi'. Of course no one might have personal impact on your business, the question is who among these people is able to create an environment where your business can flourish. Decide on whom to vote based on that.

The person should have added under coalition 3, short time in parliament with greatest impact to their constituency.

Decide on whom to vote based on that. How can I know that? By looking at track record? The Chinese are not constructing roads for naught, and any 'development' has benefits to the initiators. So whoever wins will definitely 'benefit me' via trickle down. If the winner makes things worse, I can still adapt. Mogadishu has also had businesses all this time. And losing and gaining are a part of life. Maybe we should be asked to vote with our hearts, and the candidates should address matters of the heart instead of development track records.

first things first...
Tell PK to wake up and start thinking smart.....
1) that slogan of his is only good for facebook fellas, not even twitter... it is a KINDERGARTEN slogan!!!! How can he resonate with my mother in shags with that slogan? 2) Tell him facebook has members as young as 7 years who may understand that TUNAWAZAMEK nonsense but have got no voter's cards, and they are many!!! 3) Remind him of the obako slogan of 1992... it was so strong my mother almost convinced me to vote for him.... in fact it was the strongest slogan of the time, and I still believe it stands as the best slogan ever in our multiparty politics.... it was "TOKA GIZANI", accompanied by a growing lantern... you can imagine its effect at that time when kenya was in darkness politically, economically, everything-cally ... he needs something close to that!! 4) Tell him we like pompous too.... this intellectual thing will get him no votes... @kingfisher Hapo umenena

Since PK has a link to this thread let me ask: is it true that the way out of unemployment is foreign investment?
Tunawesmake kweli na hiyo route? Bado we are playing second fiddle.

Pole pole...No need to be emotional or personal. I follow my conscience, so, I will vote for the candidate I am convinced is best for Kenya not the one I think have a chance of winning or the one people are voting for. I know how to make my choices and even in life, I have not depended on others to make choices for me and that is why I am where I am. If we say the vote cast to the winning presidential Candidate is the only one that counts, It means almost half of Kenyans in the last General Elections wasted their votes. Who has guaranteed you that Mudavadi will win so that you are assured that your vote will not be lost? Why are you scared of wasting your vote as you say? How will a vote cast to a Candidate who does not win affect your life? If you do not want your vote wasted, the best way is not to vote at all unless of course an Angel has appeared to you and indicated to you that Musalia will win in which case also, may be you do not need to vote because whether you vote Musalia or not, he would still win.

Tunawesmake kweli na hiyo route? Bado we are playing second fiddle. For Kenya almost yes. Ask the chinese how they made it. Thereafter comes technological transfers n the like. FDI babaa Foreign investment is not unnecessary or unneeded, but we should also look at how it is going to work in a country like ours. For example, it is difficult for us to compare ourselves with China in relation to market size, labor costs, cultural strength, and leadership strategies. We have not even tackled the issue of resources conclusively. For instance, how can one identify resources without firstly, having a well defined objective, and secondly, a will to beat all odds using knowledge, imagination, and creativity? By PK seeking foreign investment as a solution to unemployment, he is not only exhibiting diffidence in himself, but he is also showing lack of confidence in the citizens he is aspiring to lead. And the results will always be devastating.
