The only men I have heard looking forward to getting married are the church boys and church boys have issues with dating so thats understandable. Otherwise apart from a few men, mostly village boys, those boy who have to marry to make their clan happy, we all want to keep our single lifes!
Two sides of a coin,probably a third but i don't ever expect a coin to land on the third. I will stick with the two.
Single life is great, you do your things your way,when,where and with whom you so wish.
You keep on doing that for quite some time, some decades if you are lucky.
Eventually and there's no escaping this not less you die early,reality catches up with you.
The world tours lose their appeal,getting laid becomes a task,your body becomes frail,close friends exist only in the past. Only then do you know you were living dangerously.
Marriage/family gives stability and continuity. Its happiness is solid and deep.
What you get in single-hood is pleasure. Just quenching your desires. The kind of feeling you get when you are dying of thirst,then you get a bottle of water. Two minutes after quenching your thirst, the pleasure is gone.
If you happen to be the one giving out the bottle of water, and you see the pleasure and relief on the face of the one who was thirst,your heart would be filled with happiness.
Do all marriages bring happiness? Of coz not but that not reason not to marry.
Cars get involved in accidents,it doesn't mean the auto industry shuts down.
