To save ourselves from such greediness henceforth we should not vote such people in. Life in kenya has become expensive coz of too much tax on everything in order to fill the bellies of these mpigs. Kwanza that guy who came up with that idea should not think of any post in government.

while it is fair for people to feel aggrieved by the send-off package, I think the media twisted the story to make it appear like this is the only thing contributing to a hike in taxes. The 2b will not lead to a rise in taxes but higher public sector salaries and bigger govt surely will

...it will eventually lead to higher taxes,we always have a deficit when we prepare our budget to that deficit add another random 2B it will have to be raised from somewhere most def through govt borrowing, the amount to be borrowed has to be paid back with interest,to do that will have to tax peeps, since we wunt have enough money to pay back, will eventually have to raise taxes on ATM withdrawals etc, pretty straight forward...

I've learnt a lot from his stylo.

Applause Applause to Kibaki.

If the MPigs try to amass numbers to reject the President's recommendation, we will be watching!
