And what wait does this Kizito have?
Is he a first time Mpig?
Is he rich enough to fund a MM presidential campaign?

Likely scenario, another mistake coming his way, remember these guys know the guy cannot even secure a by-election in Western, was a VP who was then beaten for an mpig position!!!

.....on the other hand, what if Raila has decided on a different running mate from MM???

methinks he'll go for sally kosgei. He's desperate for the rift valley vote

C & P, any body from Western to confirm this?......or guka for that matter?

Q: Why can't RAO wake up and name a running mate from among the Bukusu once and for all, if he must have a running mate form the Luhya block?

1. BUSIA COUNTY; the sub-tribes that matter there - Samia, Banyala, Marachi and Khayo - are all 'Luonised' people in fact, it is very hard to differentiate their culture (not tradition) & girls, from one another until..... infact, Marachis were Luo 'outcasts' so they say. They'll vote.

2. KAKAMEGA COUNTY; Wanga and Marama are the direct progenitors of the Sakwa people of Bondo. The Kisa and Batsotso are but one with the Marama. Count the votes.
... Idakho and Isukha matter most, they tend to vote in their MPs according to their clans, but give presidential votes as the Marama, Kisa and Wanga.

3. VIHIGA COUNTY; Only the Banyore will vote to a man for anybody other than a Maragoli. the late Sabstone really terrorised them and they've never forgotten. Amongst the Maras, if MM ditches ODM for another party, let him remember Akaranga.

4. BUNGOMA COUNTY, the Bukusus over the years never vote for anybody else other than their own and they are many and they control the Tachoni, Banyala (ba Ndombi), and Sabaots.

Wafula wa Musamia prophesied that leadership shall only come to them via the lake. RAO should show them now is the time for the prophesy to be fulfilled.

Conspiracy theories will be many and varied - all calculated to (mis)inform the King that he has a very nice suit - birth suit.
Just as absolute power corrupts leaders, so does absolute fanaticism blind the people from logic

Me think MM has place himself between a rock and a hard place now.If he quits he appears coward, if he stays ODM he still coward weak.
Former will appear as if he cant fight within and win, latter appears he cant make a bold decision to bolt out.

('Shame on you

@McReggae, that is a poor attempt at trying to analyse politics in Western Kenya. ODM's popularity has nothing to do with closeness to Luo. It is more to do with the clout Raila has.. Infact, if the issue of being Luo was a factor it will work against ODM. Raila is popular in western period, this does not rely on Mudavadi, Khalwale or Wetangula. The only risk for Raila is a smear campaign that will take a tribal tone, tribal chauvinism and a reminder of Raila's relationship with Wamalwa.
By the way you have quoted Wafula wa Musamia a former trade unionist!!! What has he got to do with prophesying the presidency.
Stick to your day job and avoid political analysis. Bottomline Mudavadi has less than 20% of western vote, less than 3% of national vote and less outside ODM or with New Ford Kenya

Now tajiri with all due respect respond to a post after reading it well and soberly, the post starts with "C & P" in wazua that mean "copy and paste", I then go ahead to ask if someone from western can confirm this, then you respond with a hammer on my head......kwanu umevuto nini asubuhi hivi jameni?

Biggest piece of crap I've ever heard. You wont make RAO popular by describing communities in this manner.

I think its a case of the more juicy story. The media loves drama and intrigues. what's there to report about Tuju, wiper, Martha and the rest?
