I believe GEMAT would be comfortable with any letter apart from number 18
Sure

Which one is this 18? Is it R? Even Ruto has an R. Or you mean tuRkana.
Wisdom to detect when share prices hit rock bottom.
When interest on bonds keep going up, you know the bear run is on high street. When interest on bonds start leveling, the bear has met the bull and they have hit rock bottom. When the interest rates on bonds start coming down, the bull has overpowered the bear and you better be riding the bull.

@Muganda, this is in most Kenyans minds...but what I would like to see first is if the "G" in "GEMA" can vote for either the "E" or the "M".....

as I have asked you before, why do you think they would not? The only non-Gikuyu candidate from GEMA to vie for presidency was Geoffrey Kaibiria MMwireria in 1997(i would be surprised if u remember him). In the same election, there were 5 Gikuyu candidates! 3 of these were well known. Currently the Agikuyu have 4 well known candidates.(uhuru, martha, muite and Pk).

For Geoffrey MMwireria to have stood for presidency does not mean he was fully supported by the "G"...

Kiraitoo is going around popularizing the "MBUS", but it isn't a vehicle akina @UMK are interested in...but @Lolest, I havent mentioned that the "G" will not support the "M", I mentioned that I would really want to see it happen.. actually, it would be interesting if G7 settled on an "M" candidate...

Thank you @nostop

True story!! I would like the Havard graduate to develop a spine just like Moodavadi has and challenge the status quo...If it happens that the "G" decide to back the "M", then I think I'll be confident that tribalism can actually end in this country...

you are wrong again bro! You must belong to the group of people who believe Kenya was united behind Kibaki in 02. Very wrong! Different tribes interests and hopes were part of the tribal factor in NARC success. Some thought their man would take over after Kibaki retired after 5 yrs while others believed they would get the exec. PM post. The myth that the G would not vote for E or M is far-fetched and not informed by any history or political logic but the thing that made Odm popular in 07. You will see an end of tribal politics the day we have issue based campaigns. That day we will vote not just for someone from a famous tribe but for a Borana, Pokomo or a Taveta.

I long for that day...it starts somewhere and including what @Muganda has asked...

Where is this candidate from "E" or "M"????? I don't think we've had any (strong one) in the last 3 elections. I know you might not agree but i think @loles is right, spliting GEMAT would be beneficial to your preferred candidate. Anyway like i said before if you look at the voting patterns in the last 3 elections all the major communities in the country have ALWAYS voted (majority) for their own tribesmen. Its only In 2002 we had a collection of tribal chiefs (NARC) with a common agenda to defeat KANU while in 2007 ODM had the Pentagon, again tribal leaders. I think we need to move together as a country instead of pretending that its just a problem in MT Kenya or wherever. Look to the day when Kenyans in central, RV and Nyanza would reject UK, WR & RAO for obvious reasons and support a candidate that we can all believe in.

looking thro the entire discussion i calmly submit that we can have candidates from the minority but we lack political parties, most of what we have are individual buses to satisfy individual whims

@Lolest and @Taz, you missing the point here since you are avoiding to look at the bigger picture...I'm not interested in Havard graduate splitting the voting block...I have actually acknowledged the spine Moodavadi has developed...which for now I do not see in the near future from the Havard guy...I'm yet to see "GEMA" not vote as a block a preferably to either "M" or "E"...I'm not saying it is impossible!! but maybe my great grand children will see it happen. If politics was based on parties and ideologies, then their is a chance it will happen...I'm still hoping to see G7/URP/MBUS/NAP-K/PNU/PNU ALLIANCE et al go for nominations before castigating ODM for lack of internal democracy...I remember UMK and the rest signed and agreement to choose one of them, but again, time will tell.....
