@TAZ,
You guys are a funny lot, you come celebrating the fact that Gor Matches will not be aired anymore, we tell you what we feel about the same and then you go blah blah......the drive to get fans back to the stadiums started before the SS/TUZO sponsorships.....FACT!!!!

No one is celebrating what SS has done, we are just saying that Gor as a club needs to handle its supporters in a better way. Another misconception by Gor fans is that they think their support is enough to sustain the club. Even if you fill up the Stadium with fans every weekend you'd still need Sponsorship.....before SS & other Sponsors came in, clubs used to struggle financially including Gor who would camp at the PMs office for financial assistance. Its the fans who are bringing down the club. Look at Ingwe they've just landed a medical cover with AAR worth 18m....can Gor do the same with whats happening off the pitch?

Wonder who watches the Kenyan league on Tv ?
Some games should be banned. I rather athletics and rugby, these bring more fame to Kenya

You should visit a private members club when a match a KPL match is on. Those wazees place bets before every game. They can't bet on the English Premier league on teams they do not know

@ Mc Reggae......The rules about the league’s gate collections are very clear, the home team organizes everything including the pricing of tickets and in the end of the event they take the proceeds from the game. In Cup competitions the teams taking part in a duel do share the proceeds from the game on a 50 – 50 basis after the federation has taken its share. Even if Gor fans fill the Nyayo Stadium the money will only be realised by the Club if its a home game. The other Nairobi teams have been able to cash in on Gor supporters increasing their revenues. How many home games are there in the league and what is the number of Gor's entire squad including the techincal bench and Management? What about the other exenses travelling and accomodation (outside Nairobi), Playing & training Kits, Advertising etc..... Do you want to tell me that the 1m collected in home matches is enough to pay for all that?

@TAZ,
How much are the sponsors giving the teams today annually? That was my question.

They will simply demand that the opponents submit a home ground for their match which is neither Nyayo nor Kasarani.
