It has been loong time coming though!!!

It is good to note and acknowledge that some of my posts above have been edited by @Admin as well as moved here from my other thread - "Why is this thread frozen"- that I had opened to campaign for unfreezing of this thread.

I would have wished to post as below;

Charles Kanjama an establishment friendly lawyer/commentator is begining to raise the stink -

Note observations from Peter Mwaura here

Mutuma Mathiu wrote a related piece as below.

http://www.nation.co.ke/...-/11iwdcrz/-/index.html

Obviously the Cabinet Secretary angling towards a stranglehold control on Media works at the behest of the Head of the Executive.
One wonders if it's different in this case - or so Mwaura seem to suppose.

Yesterday while in Loitokitok, Uhuru defended IG Kimaiyo's recent outburst that was widely seen to be an affront towards Journalists and The Media in general.

What is this obsession someone has with Uhuru, Posting so many times to a thread that they started!! Eiish!!
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God..

You mean this one;

Macharia Gaitho - President & DP committed to recycling!

Though I may agree with some of Gaitho's views, I am persuaded that as far as kina Uhuru are concerned, he can not be said to be too objective.

Ababu Namwamba and Barrack Muluka penned some conscience pricking articles too.
Gaitho also had an earlier even hard hitting one a couple of days ago.

Again the articles in my estimation largely mirror our situation as it is.
Nonetheless due to the gentlemen's political persuasions, their views are not likely to be considered as objective by many!

Lakini when level headed commentators like Peter Mwaura, Mureithi Mutiga as well as hitherto die hard supporters such as Ahmednasir begin casting aspersion, there is cause for worry

And you, @Nandwa, would you be considered objective in this context?

This article on LSK politics, albeit in a subtle way, appears to point fingers to attempts by state to puppetteer the Lawyers organisation -

Political gatherings have been declared illegal indefinitely. This is yet another feather in our president's cap.
