I still think this is a non-issue even here in Wazua. He's a news seeker like that Omutata guy or where any publicity positive or negative is good for them. We shouldn't give him much airtime. BBI will solve it :)

The only lesson I have learnt from activist is never do them any good. They never remember because any kindness is an entitlement and they always come back to haunt you. The next 5 years will belong to activist, and then Kenyans will realise that this guys are ABK and kick them out. Never form a government which includes activist

It is sad that in the spirit of constitutional reforms we hurried to put activists in public offices not knowing that they will continue wearing the same courts in these offices and forget serving Kenyans. Some characters don't understand what is patriotism and they care less of what their actions or utterance portend for their country and populace. We have to brace our self in the coming years for Omar's like incidences. How do you explain the recent debacle at the New High Court building where the AG had to call a press conference to air his dissatisfaction with the construction of the building wheres he knows there are proper channels of addressing such issues within the government system? That's playing politics with government business.

Why does Omar express such feelings? I doubt he wouldn't have said this with the promise 2002 elections brought....therein lies your answer!

It's true we have all these people in the govt but why talk about them now when they have been there for years? The article was written to incite Kenyans against one community. He comes out as a very bitter person with the Kikuyus especially in the below paragraph. If we continue to hear more of this then 2007 was a rehearsal.Let's clean up the mess and do away with such leaders. "You scar and bleed a nation when you willfully negate its sensitivities. To pass the microphone from one Njoroge to another, then to Nyoike and Murungi while addressing the soaring costs of energy. Or when Ndung’u passes the microphone to Kinyua then to Kenyatta to tell us why the shilling is losing ground. Or when the leadership of the country’s security apparatus is almost exclusively from Kibaki’s ethnic Kikuyu. You then wonder why there’s ethnicity in Kenya when the Government is working ‘tirelessly’ to patch your roads and build you new ones with flyovers. Kenyans are not idiots. We are a people endowed with sufficient talent, intellect and reason, alhamdulillah (Thank God)!"

A layman would interpret his article differently....Does it mean Kikuyus are responsible for the ever increasing cost of fuel...what about the Kenyan Shilling will it improve if Kikuyus are replaced at Treasury or CBK....Who are the assistant Ministers of Finance & Ennergy anyway.
There's was an article in one of the newspapers sometimes back on how the President and the Prime Minister have surrounded themselves with their tribesmen in their offices.
"Kenyans are not idiots. We are a people endowed with sufficient talent, intellect and reason.." Atleast he got something right!

Some people are quite interesting. So it is ok to say anything no matter how tribal or how divisive it is because its democratic? “People will believe a big lie sooner than a little one, and if you repeat it frequently enough, people will sooner or later believe it.” ― Walter C. Langer

And my point is this, as at elections 2002, Baks had the opportunity to destroy tribalism and not entrench it....the feeling is out there.

Kikuyus are in their millions in this country, not the few in finance and energy ministries. There is also a tendency to omit individuals from other communities like the assistant ministers such as in finance just to skew the arguments and to expand the communities to GEMA when Kikuyu does not fit the bill like in the ministry of energy where we have Kiraitu and Mwirichia.

Such attitude was so rampant in 2006 and 2007. Those Njoroges and Kinyuas were still there. But unhappily the njororge and kinyuas in rift valley were affected.
If this guy and his inferior ilk is not stopped, this is what will happen: - 2012 will be inundated with such poison - a kikuyu or a kikuyu-supported candidate wins 2012 - clashes break out 2013; this time finding a fairly well prepared counter-party- make no mistake! - Kofi annan etc etc...reconciliations fish cake fish cake... - Njoroges, Kinyuas replaced with Njoroges and Kinyuas.
and ditto 2017, 2022...he will age like Nassir and get out of picture a sad man.
Because this Omari and his cohort thinks from the wrong end, they dont know that to effect change, start from the IQ side, starting from himself to his children ...and to the rest of his non-kikuyu tribe.

The KNCHR commissioner is like Caesar,s wife. He must be beyond reproach. Omar should go back to 07 and see the REAL cause of the chaos: hatred. We had chants like 41 tribes against 1, Wameiba, wamepata vya bure etc...but I agree, these appointments thing is the biggest downside of the Kibaki era. I agree with @nostop that emilio was the best bet to stop the ukabila dragon.too bad he fed it.
