Possibly the sensors for traction control have caused the error, check if you can locate the ets/esp switch, switch off to remove traction control. then skid your way out of the slippery grass. if successful you can have the sensors ath all the four wheels checked for dust then proceed to remove the error codes.

Brake switch. Situated adjacent to the hood latch after removing the cover.Twice the size of a matchbox and once replaced, there was no need of running the error codes. The car simply kicked back to normal. Next time i need not go to the dealer as it's simple DIY part replacement. Can hardly take 20 minutes.See similar switch below

Hi Guys,
Speaking of benzes, Everyone seems to discourage me on purchasing a sprinter as a matatu. Online reviews are full of praise yet the situation seems a little wanting here. One seat fabricator tells me of a friend of his who had to sell his pickup to keep his sprinter on the road after some mechanical failure. How readily available are the spares? The word is readily. Not importation etc. Shuttles to kisumu are using them and so is horizon between nairobi and mombasa. Given the small engine (2200 cc turbo diesel) and the bigger body and weight, how would they handle a hilly route? What is the cost of undertaking a normal service? Would really appreciate if someone here might be in the know or may connect me to someone running one.

I'm aware of 2 people in Nairobi who are stocking the Mercedes Sprinter parts in Nairobi. One seems to have brought in an extensive range of parts from the UK.
They are based in Mlolongo, along Beijing road, (the fifth gate on the left that's written Solar world). They have a Go-down there where I managed to buy a fuel pump from there last week for my 311CDI Mercedes Sprinter. I dealt with a guy called Chris (0716429619)

A good mechanic I normally use is called Peter, I think he also services some of the cube movers sprinter vehicles. His number is 0722710633. Good guy.

If anyone has any other contacts please share them on here.

I need a mechanic for repairing sun-roof.
The opposite of courage is not cowardice, it's conformity.
