The dilema with LMO is that he didnt conduct the investigations and he knows he didnt, he relied on some report(s).

He could have had a better chance if he named only 2 kriminals.

1. Emilio Mwai Kibaki
2. Raila Amolo Ondiga

The fact that he acted like a politicial stooge, dragging 3 "suspects" from each side of the political devide then; will be used as evidence aganist him.

Credibility of ICC is at stake. In the end, the judges may not confirm charges due to a large extent failure by LMO to gather conclusive evidence to warrant full trial.

Well spoken, LMO (Sounds Limau) should have nailed the mother devils instead of the six imps. The PEV was fought because of two people, and only two ppl who were starring in the epic movie, Laira Emolo and Omilio Kifaki. Anything else was about supporting casts in the movie.

When you guys will realize that Ocambo is only targeting persons who planned and financed the chaos...this will be a better discussion. If he can prove that MK and RA did these things (separate your arguments from having political responsibilities), he would build a case against them too.
With every passing day, the theory that the VIOLENCE were planned and could have happened whether elections were there or not seem legit....The elections just presented a good opportunity

@nostoppingthis
...Tell them, tell them man. It is called PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY. During the reign of Moi, he would say something like,"Njoya is not a good man". And in the next few minutes we would see Njoya being clobbered 'moilessly' by a policeman. In law that does not Make Moi guilty or liable. State House is not a personal residence. Top gava officials have access 24 hours and Kibaki does not know everything that goes in there. Since we do not have many academic minds in Wazua politics section, many of those that contribute in this section will always think Raila and Kibaki. I bow out!

On a light note I just realized that the defence team is KKK Kehoe, Khan and Kay can't wait for the vociferous three. The more they defend their clients, the more they contradict each other!!!

McDobba, Maj Gen is off to a great start, atleast his defense concentrated on exonerating him from planning, financing and being at the policy level of a "network". They argue that whenever he had info about people organizing to commit the violence his reaction is well documented to reveal that his actions were geared towards stopping the violence by any means necessary. He did not have a stake or motive to be party to either side of the divide.

Riots were all over Kenya, really? Killing and raping in specific places, really? There were killings of civilians and other human rights abuses in The western part of Kenya by criminal gangs too! No one is on trial for this maybe because no one planned violence in those areas. Maybe its in the nature of youths in those areas act the way they did when annoyed thus needed no financing. MAYBE
