No dispute that KDN is a telecom giant. A giant that is going down. If you want to confirm that, try calling their customer support number 020-5000000. Getting worse every day.

This matter seems to be over sensationalized, KDN has no operational problems, in fact i understand that they just got funding of about 2.8B a few months ago from The Holding company in S.A and salaries are paid as early as the 20th.The issue seems to be that the 400m is a disputed amount as Soliton did not complete the work as per the agreement but wants full payment. The matter should have been arbitrated but Soliton run to court to start the hearing for the Winding up process.I doubt if Soliton will be successful anf if it is 400m is not to much for KDN to pay!

Lets watch.I don't see KDN going anywhere. How much is in contention?400Million?That is not soooo much for a company that carries data for several other ISPs.

If it was not much, they would have paid up don't you think?

Shame on you ...one can not pay for that he has not eaten. Its as simple as that. Why all the speculation.

This NOW leaves access kenya as THE KING OF DATA IN KENYA !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Access Kenya has 400 kms of fiber, KDN has 5000.
Ignorance galore

KDN probably has more fibre than Access, Telkom and GOK (NOFBI) combined

And why dont you do your research. How many km's of fiber does AK have? How much km's of fiber does telkom have? Safcom are doing better than AK by the way.
