Funky-had a similar feeling, you may discover the decision is to create two companies. One that continues with the tea and another to hold the land.

Been trying to figure out why not even civil society or Wangari Maathai has spoken out against this trend of building on Kenya's most arable land.

Btw as @funky & @mainat state, this reminds me of EGADS last year when a real estate rumour sent its price on a sharp parabolic only to leave Wanjikus high and dry that got suckered in by the rally...

Guys be cautious when buying these shares. I just had a word with my broker and he advised me not to buy these shares. He said this is a merali company, there is a possiblity he may sell the land cheaply to himself and start the project himself leaving Sasini shareholders with peanuts. Merali can do anything to make himself "RICH" and leave nothing for the other shareholders.

@Funky. I concur. Look at Sameer Business Park. It was developed using shareholder's bucks bt somewhere along the line the ownership changed. It's owned 75% by Merali & the rest by shareholders.

Okay, no supply on this stock. Question is how far can it go before the rain starts pounding!

not everyone is buying land in kenya in cash. the majority are using land loans from banks worse still everyone is using bank loans to built rental flats whose demand is going down. if you can benefit from the madness in real estate please do early enough.
