Land. Sea. Arsenal FC. Highs. Lows. Arsenal FC.

@Taz you must be joking about the Chairman bit otherwise if serious you must be bathing in whatever Wenger is inhaling.

Wenger should be shot.

Following the persistent blindness and lack of focus that has befallen Arsen Wenger and the entire Arsnal's board, I hereby categorically and without fear or favor do tender my resignation, ummm, I do actually suspend my support for this team for the entire period of the 2011/2012 season.

And in that order I also do hereby temporally shift my support to Liverpool FC, atleast for the entire season.

I can never walk alone again.

It's said that Man-useless fans are like Undergrads. It's the team you join when you begin watching football.

It's said that Arsenal fans are like Masters students. It's the team you join when you start employing a little effort in your thought processes.

And finally it's said that Chelsea fans are like PhD holders. It's the team for the brilliant and learned in the skill, art and science of FOOTBALL.

@ Elder.....Look at Spurs, their Chairman has refused to sell Modric depsite of what Redknapp thinks. He's always busy trying to bring in new players, last week he was so confident he'll land Mata.

At Liverpool its Comolli who has been key in bringing in players same thing at Chelsea & Man City....Mancini doesn't even know who will be signed by the club.

At Barca Guardiola has been so quiet on new signings, its the President who has brought Cesc and Sanchez on board. Massimo Morati is the one calling the shots at Inter, not the coach.

Usmanov and several other directors have called for the immediate replacement of the entire board. Its the same board that replaced David Dean (Wenger's right hand man) who was so influential in bringing in top players. Wenger is always arrogant and stubborn when it comes to signing players but i don't think he is entirely to blame. He has performed well with the players at his disposal but lack of depth in the team has always been the major problem.

What we need is to have Alister Usmanov in that board, he seems to be the only person who understand whats wrong at the club.

He is on record saying he can't be a board member just to be a board member. He needs power and control. With Stan Kroenke as the majority share holder do you see Usmanov getting the requisite power and influence any time soon? Kroenke would have to approach Usmanov for help. Good luck with that!
Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.

if the article is to be believed, then I foresee a big problem facing kraoke and his company Arsenal.Relegation is coming if status quo remains.
They will loose us (fans) to Manchester city where romours have it that Wenger and Mansoor are buddies and have been spotted severaly in hotels with a Man city delegation in West london.

Except that the Aresenal Chairman is Peter Hill-Wood. He does not run the club and when it comes to foot in the mouth cases you best believe that he was separated at birth from his twin brother Alfred Mutua. In short the guy makes no calls at the club when it comes to players leaving or being bought.

On the link over Wenger being at loggerhead with the board, read it yesterday and it sounds like some PR move for Wenger to win back the fans after screwing up this transfer window.
