Even better, why can't the government purchase or compensate the IDP's for their land and allow them to settle in areas they perceive as friendly. Is the governmet genuinely looking to resettle the IDP's or waiting to bait them with other promises of resettlement come 2012.

What happened to where IDPs were originally from?

People here can blame Uhuru and Ruto all they want but for me there are only two politicians who we should be crucifying for what happened in 2008....MK and RAO. These two have no moral right to condemn anyone to the hague, they should be making statements wakiwa ndani. As the principals (who are both in government), what have they done to address the IDP situation?

I think they are only out for "political" reasons.... You cant take RAO without taking MK. Taking MK would definitely destabilize the country as other fresh elections would need to be called. but that is my thinking... May be after next year they might open files for them too who knows.

Did the two plan or finance the PEV? you might be shocked to realize that the PEV was planned without the knowledge of the two and was waiting for the "right" moment
