Praying for the people of Japan. I read somewhere that Kenya is the least prone country to natural disasters in the world [citation needed]

Quake is said to have moved the main Japan island by a whooping 10' (2.4 Metres) and the earth axis by 4" (100 mm).....haiyaa! Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm.

Praying for the people of Japan. Very very true. That is the price we pay for impunity...people use this word casually but it is the root cause of most problems afflicting our beloved country. It's not hard to make decisions when you know what your values are.

Compare Haiti's 7.0 earthquake with the hundreds of thousands of fatalities and Japan's 8.9 earthquake+tsunami with less than ten thousand fatalities. If a 7.0 were to hit close to Nairobi, many flats would completely collapse. If it happens at night, the death toll would be huge. For now, prayer is all we got.
