Okay... Point noted! Can we get back to stocks? Like why cables is up 8%..albeit less than 2bob change but that's a big percentage...and why it seems CFC-stanbic's hit a lull..and howcomes kengen with a divyield of 5.11.. is down today..day of bookclosure yet 40cents dividend on a share priced 17 is better than 4bob for kplc at 139...and probability of kengen comin down on monday since it'l be ex div. Get off this tribal trash! I didn't see persons over 60 years wieldin matchetes to kill n evict non tribes men!

@ mwana & the likes

ever wondered what scarcity mentality is all about.....? i guess not.....!

then,i tell you it's a belief that you only succeed when someone else fails...

scarcity mentality is the biggest problem in our society!

it has ruined our politics, our governance and our economy...

it makes smart people become tribal chauvinists...who only can trust a system if only one of their own is heading it...

I am a kikuyu,i didn't apply to be but all the same i am proud and i invested heavily when mwebesa was the ceo and i didn't care his tribe and in the same spirit i will invest even when mwangi assumes that office... because i know what i want out of nse..

grow up and let's build up our nation!

Companies are democratic institutions and the the rule of majority applies provided it is within the law.So if they decide it is Kimani Maruge......that's it.

Fellows it is sad to see that people are making judgments of peter mwangi based on his tribe. I feel some people here would be happier if it was a college dropout got appointed.

That however is not to say i'm happy with the way he was appointed. There was so much secrecy and although he is qualified, peter mwangi was appointed days after mwabesa's resignation. This gave little chance to other suitable qualified individuals to throw thier hat into the ring kikuyu or otherwise. so we get someone who has been part of this exclusive nse club and is likely to offer few new ideas. lets base our arguments on such otherwise our country will never go anywhere.

If you ever wanted to excell in business befriend these people, ask them how they do it insteed of playing the tribal ball game.I tried it and i have no regrets associating with my Kikuyu business mates. It is high time we jioned forces and stop the blame game.I expected a congratulatory remarks to Mr Mwangi.

Ok,ok,ok! Back to stocks please? Cables will close at starting prices as focus is bak on it. Kengen..i suggest sell..impact of bookclosure might take it back to 13. Centum is down..range 12bob..we are coming. CFCstanbic..todays drop is a lull...trend likely to resume next week. Total kenya..hope ya'l got some by now. I need to kno how they are payin for takeover n whether div policy's affected.
