If the bar owners have contracts saying they will only sell EABL products well and good issue the warnings, slap them with penalties etc
I don't know if contracts were signed,if not the bar owners should be allowed to stock the drinks they want.

TS: So what is the problem here? Let the bar owners sell Summit. If EABL does not want to supply them... then shauri yao.

Moran,to say that summit is lousy is of no consenquence. This is your personal opinion, that Tusker is better, and I think the same too...I tried summit when I was in Kenya this last Dec and didn't like it. Tusker is better, but our opinion doesn't matter for there are those who prefer Summit. Otherwise it wouldn't be giving ol' tusker compe,au sio?

I was having a drink in this pub in Limuru in Dec,and the bar owner told me that he couldn't even mix EABL beers with Summit in a refrigerator. Aparently the summit fridge had stopped working so all the summits were warm, and I asked him why he didn't just mix all the beers in one fridge, since the EABL fridge was in good working order.

He said that if the inspectors (and there were many roaming about conducting suprise checks in bars) .....ati if they found any summit beers in the same fridge with a tusker or pilsner, they would ban you from ever selling tusker again. Quite childish I think.

EABL is smart. Say you supplied milk (limuru fresh). You give a kiosk a freezer/fridge for ONLY limuru milk. For free. On the condition, you ONLY stock LF products. Tuzo gives you their own fridge. Kwani LF is there to support their competitors by providing fridges? NO. Kwani,Mercedes allows DT Dobie to sell BMWs in the Mercedes showroom? NO. Kwani,Shell allows Kenol to sell Kenol lubricanats or LPG at Shell stations? NO.
****Do you see Pepsi products in Coke machines? NO...

you its only eabl who does that? that is a common tradition. even cocacola will castigate you if they ever found another stuff in their fridge (even milk). i think if keroche want to sell beer let them also invest in branding their own bars. by the way was it a coincidence are just strategy to for them to use similar bottles with eabl? i believe they were averting what softa soda experienced with cocacola - sabotage
