Meaning that guys will be trading on liabilities. Heck I can even offer my loans 4sale, any buyer out there? If relisted, wanjiku might burn fingers again. They should get their act 2getha first.

Buyer Beware... If you know Uchumi is in trouble then only buy if you are willing to risk it... So saying wanjiku will be conned means either wanjiku is stupid OR wanjiku should not be investing in shares...

I am not sure what the relisting requirement are. In my few years of trading i have not seen a relisting happen.
Uchumi has too much debt to suppliers etc, it has a huge debenture. They do not have a clear strategy on their way forward and you can only bank on patriotism for so long! I think it will be a penny stock like neveready where most people lose money and some people make money trading on its fluctuations and it will stay that way for a long time.

@vvs, im surprised u think everyone in the NSE is as informed as u. There r guys buying eveready innocently hoping to make a killing soon enuff. Its such unsuspecting pple these rules aim to protect.

As @bweyenye says... gambling is not investing!

Now I am waiting for some idiot to tell me that those sms gambling crap [zawadi 2929, etc] are luring the innocent... It lures in idiots... Says 60/- per sms!!! Ngai fafa!
