Hill told The Telegraph newspaper that the number of people in the UK with the virus was falling at a rate that meant it might not be possible to effectively test the experimental vaccine known as ChAdOx1 nCoV-19. Best news ever It will pass. This is good news In other words it clears on its own and soon there will be no cases in UK? What next for Africa and Kenya in particular? We continue locking up until it passes or we get out and sanitize as it passes? It means that there will be no UK cases so they will come to Africa to test their vaccine. Why is Mathare not locked down? "There are only two emotions in the market, hope & fear. No people in the UK? No problem...former colonies are ready ... KEMRI/Wellcome (Kilifi) is looking for 400-500 health care workers to participate in the Oxford Vaccine study_______ Researchers in Kenya are calling for 400 volunteers to take part in a trial of a potential coronavirus vaccine pioneered by the University of Oxford.
The Kemri-Wellcome Trust says all participants must be health workers living in the coastal city of Mombasa and nearby town of Kilifi, where the trial will take place.
The same potential vaccine, called ChAdOx1 nCoV-19, is already being tested on more than 1,000 volunteers in the UK.
Hoping to drum up enough support in Kenya, the Kemri-Wellcome Trust has enlisted the Kenya Medical Research Institute to help with the search for participants.
There has been controversy around the testing of vaccines in Africa, but the researchers stressed that regulatory approval will be sought before any trial begin.
They also said that Kenyan participation is crucial if the vaccine is to be suitable for use on the continent.

Best news ever It will pass. Here is Dr. William Haseltine warning against rushing vaccines. He is calling bullshit on the claim of these Oxford researchers that there are no people in the UK...To say nothing about the fact that the vaccine does NOT stop infection.

He is calling bullshit on the claim of these Oxford researchers that there are no people in the UK...To say nothing about the fact that the vaccine does NOT stop infection. The idea that science is going to reach into its bag and pull out magically the cure is fanciful. We need to use the tools we have to solve the problem we have. We KNOW how to address this problem but people don't have the will to make the changes that are needed. Why? WE THINK WE KNOW WHAT THE OUTCOME IS. People are joking with Covid... throwing around words like Herd Immunity. Let me tell you Covid-19 is an RNA virus that is made up of about 30,000 protein bases. each that can mutate or be recombined with some other virus and the outcome would be a Covid like disease that may be harmful. What people don't know is that THIS HAS ALREADY HAPPENED. What people don't understand is that what you are seeing around is a strain known as the "S" type strain. there was an “L” type, which was predominant during the early weeks of the outbreak in Wuhan, which could be distinguished from the L type by only 2 genetic changes... out of the 30,000! the L type was “more aggressive” and more contagious than the S-type strains that had become more common outside of China. It was MORE EFFICIENT... more VIRAL. but it was snuffed out... how? CHINESE BRUTAL LOCKDOWN. People here think they know this disease... NO...IT CAN MORPH INTO SOMETHING DIFFERENT THAT KILLS DIFFERENTLY...MAYBE IT ALREADY HAS. it's killing younger people in latin america.... I know you are bored, tired, disinterested... if these things would halt the virus i would join you... tuwache mchezo! you may end up with a new strain in Kibera or Mathare and even hizo ma Hydrochloroqine zenu will not help. The only way is to choke this thing out of existence. Or you will be looking for Cures or Vaccines forever. All Mushrooms are edible! Some Mushroom are only edible ONCE!
