Kenyans voted in a progressive 2010 constitution that strengthened institutions so as to free them from Executive interference. Seems some of us are still hang over in that past, quite ironic given their Dark Days oh KANU 90s mantra! Laughing out loudly

Let the independent institutions do their work.

There is a load of crap coming out here from some posters. The issue of the actual land ownership is rightfully in court. Like all land grabbing, it knows no political affiliation. If the likes of McR* and that other guy were honest, the same anger would extend to how CORD County government officials may have been involved. Use of tear gas on children cannot have been the best way to disperse the crowd neither can the use of toddlers in activism be the way forward, whether you like it not. The IG of Police or designate should swiftly act on this matter.

The Acting Inspector General has said the senior officer who led the Langata Rd operation has been suspended.

He has also condemned the use of school children in demonstrations.

Some parents had not authorized use of their children in the demos.

Langata Rd Pry Sch Headteacher asked to record statement with police on why children were allowed to join the demonstrations.

Who in their right mind would use kids for violent demos? would you send your kid to one? Why did the headteacher allow the kids to go out and demonstrate by bringing down walls? Where were the parents to go and demonstrate with the activists? These activists are full of crap.

I would not be bothered if it was peaceful without use of force bringing down walls and gates. The case is in court. Ngilu and NLC say the land belongs to the school. so was this demo necessary? Couldnt they wait for court decision? What if that gate or fence came down on a student and he/she died? would we be here blaming the land grabber too? watu watumie akili.

Watching these videos it's clear that canister was tossed to the students by an activist not a cop. watch keenly some dude in a baseball cap.

@0.15 even after tossing the canister, he goes after it to throw it elsewhere.

@0.35 another angle. Who is the idiot and who sent him

@1.49 same guy at a different angle. You can see him hanging around waiting for the opportunity to take the canister and kick it towards students!

Finally the conspiracy is unveiled! Following a whole day of peering over videos, the following has been discovered:

1. The whole thing was stage managed by the activists to the extent of hiring fake cops to appear at the school and then teargasing the school kids and then frame the police for it.

2. The school headmaster was paid to allege that the school ground was grabbed yet the fence was actually put around the school to protect the children by the school administration.

3. The land was actually sold by CORD in 2000 and someone carefully stage-managed today's events to embarrass Kenyans.

I apologize for leaping to conclusions. Thanks to all the hardworking Kenyans who unmasked this drama that could only have been planned in the countries of our enemies with the help od Hollywood directors.

Baba yao Waititu must be smiling from ear to ear saying, "That problem has been solved, styro hiyo." The senior government official who is associated with that hotel should just sell his shares and get out. This thing stinks to high heavens.

What is clear is that someone in civilian clothing threw the canister towards the pupils....could have been an 'activist' or someone sent by the 'other party'...

The bottom line is there would have been no canister if the police had not fired any....

Surely at 0:22min, an 'activist' not police, lobs the already active teargas canister into the toddlers!

That said, the active canister shouldn't have available to the 'activist' to capitalize on.

The ill equipped police force stood out in it's true colors today. In this state and now caught up in various layers of Kenya's corruption.

The only good news I have heard today
