Mafuta imefichwo!!!

Today I had to go to five petrol stations before I got one with fuel! Ukipatana na petrol station iko na fuel, jaza tank!!!

I understand some cartels have taken most of the fuel storage space and are waiting for fuel prices to rise [probably on Thursday(?)]. The fine for late collection is not deterrent enough! Genuine dealers have nowhere to store their fuel. There might be supply disruptions till Saturday! Watu wajipange!!!

System ya majambazi!
Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.

One thing looks certain; there will b a major increase in fuel prices to warrant such hoarding.

I am guessing a 5/= to 10/= increase per litre of petrol!

I am hoping not but my inner voice is telling me that is exactly what is going to happen!

They should sell us the last stock for like a week after the announcement.

It seems the increment will be big, to warrant hoarding of the stock for a couple of days. Most of the stations have Diesel available meaning not much change is expected from it.d'oh!

Big companies are not hoarding. Their supply chain has been affected because they have been pushed out by some connected fellows who have taken up most of the storage space. And I doubt they will be paying for late collection either!!!

And of course these bloody fellows know exactly what the new price will be. They must have paid for the info.!

@MaichBlack. Don't believe everything that is written in the press(Its never the gospel truth). Please ask yourself, how comes its only issues raised by one oil marketer are printed in a particular daily. You think they are victims? Really? How comes KPC's response refuting the alleged clogging and stockouts has not been highlighted in the same daily. For that matter the same OMC was given extra allocations last month through a special order that has distorted the normal delivery plan.
How about crying wolf early to pose as the victim, fabricate a crises and institute change that favours you.
I am also sure you have been given an option to use that high performance fuel that costs higher (for your info its just normal fuel with additives). Yes its a dirty business.
Disclaimer: I do not work for KPC, KK, MOEP or ERC. I am just exasperated by this one particular OMC misleading the public.
