Dear wazuans, Please take a moment to watch the linked video and a further moment to reflect before posting. My guess is that we will realize our bigger enemy is one!

Let us all be rational and make everybody a partner in fighting terror. Let us keep on asking hard questions! Take responsibility individually, and pressurize the govt to stop plastic solutions and rhetoric!

@AlphDoti, now everyone can clearly see why i am seldom calling you names (despite our very clear religion view point difference).

4 Points to KEENLY note;

1. We have a menace in our society,

2. We need to be rational in our thinking,

3. Terrorism menace requires partnership, individual and communal,

4. The GoK current APPROACH is wrong benefiting terrorists, and need a change of tactics PRONTO!

So what happened to high resolution CCTV cameras in ALL MAJOR URBAN CENTERS? Did that project disappear to @MwaiKibakis buddies pockets? #Just_Asking!

Someone needs to take responsibility for past attacks, and someone else needs to take control of the situation to prevent future ones.

We have a major vacuum in leadership, and it is showing now. Surely what is so important in Nigeria while your own country burns?

In my opiion, when facing a crisis the first thing is not to first look on someone to blame but rather identify the 5W's & H. (Who, What, When,Where, Why & How)

1. Who is responsible for the attacks
2. What is causing the attacks
3. When did they start
4. Where is it happening
5. Why is it happening
6. How are the attacks being carried out

But no, we all want to point fingers and feel smart about it.

Terrorism as @ Tycho has pointed out has never been succesfuly dealt with anywhere. The reason its called so is because everyone is unable to predict and firmly deal with such tactics being employed and the sooner we change our mindsets then we can trully start understanding what is going on around us.

Like i said...... IF EVER IN DOUBT FOLLOW THE MONEY!

Thats good,
who stands to benefit from this violence
that is where this discussion should be focused on

Oh boy let me guess.

Raira?
Someone trying to destabilise the gov't?
white people?
who?

Please do tell us the theory. We Kenyan minions are too slow to understand. Here we are thinking that its Alshabab that is attacking us. Silly us.

Who stands to benefit from this violence?

1. Who is responsible for the attacks

We don't know. The police haven't arrested anyone yet.

2. What is causing the attacks

Poor Security. Murchr says citizens are lazy.

3. When did they start

In 1998 but 30 times after this gov't took over.

4. Where is it happening

All over Kenya

5. Why is it happening

Corruption and inept leadership

6. How are the attacks being carried out

Grenades, IED's and other paraphenalia being thrown at Kenyans.

Add:- What do are we doing (Not doing right) and what do we intend to about it

Guru says leave Somalia. Murchr says nyumba kumi. kularaha says fire ole nenku. I say, corruption

Before you continue using the word blame please understand that answering the question Who, What, Where, Why, How is actually BLAMING

tr.v. blamed, blam·ing, blames
1. To hold responsible.
2. To find fault with; censure.
3. To place responsibility for (something): blamed the crisis on poor planning.
n.
1. The state of being responsible for a fault or error; culpability.
2. Censure; condemnation.
Idiom:
to blame
1. Deserving censure; at fault.
2. Being the cause or source of something

http://www.thefreedictionary.com/blaming

I suggest that this 2pm meeting be held earlier than usual today before we have another of this senseless "kenyans waache ujuaji" statements.

Laughing out loudly I dont know where you went to school but am sure you either missed out on english classes or you have a deliberate intention to decieve. The 5W's and 1H are not blame period; for your information those are basic information gathering procedures. You derive alot of pleaseure calling people names sijui 2pm gang yet there is no effect it has on the real issues.
The answers you have provided are so simplistic they would actually make OleLenku look good.

@Kratos surely, we are not in English class here. What can't you understand in what @alma posted? He's contributing to this discussion, he lays down his opinion. In fact I can saw he is one of the people here who speak honestly, regardless of tribe or whatever. It may not be the only solution. What is yours?

Leave Kratos alone he still thinks that we are in electioneering period and Raira might just win the election next week.

This is what happens when you have corruption and cronysm going on in gov'ts. When warnings are thrown at us we say white people hate us.

But choices do have consequences.

Quote:
President Kibaki's January 16 removal of
Brigadier (ret.) Boinett as head of Kenya's National Intelligence Service (NSIS) removes the USG's main ally in the counter-terror struggle and one of the few remaining true professionals at the highest level of the Kenyan Government.

Quote:
The last straw, it appears, was the referendum.
Boinett rebuffed efforts to reallocate NSIS resources to aid the Banana campaign (reftel). The Banana team did indeed lose, and by a huge margin. In recent weeks, Boinett was repeatedly refused access to President Kibaki -- for the first time in his tenure.

Quote:
word of Gichangi's appointment reached Boinett and many senior NSIS officials as they -- and
Gichangi -- were dining at the Ambassador's residence with a visiting Codel from the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence. The NSIS officials -- and a visibly angry Police Commissioner Ali -- departed dinner "en masse" just as soon as was diplomatically acceptable. (Ali privately relayed he is concerned about the police's future working relationship with the NSIS -- as he himself has had no such working relationship with Gichangi during the latter's two years as NCTC Director.)

Quote:
In order to earn trust, he has to do things right and the right thing without fear, favor or ill will. In so doing, he must be efficient, loyal and balanced." THREE: "All men and women of the
service must direct all their time and energy towards promoting and projecting that which only serves and informs the national interest. FOUR: The Service should operate within the law."

Now for the Doozy as they say

Quote:
Murungaru. During his just-concluded tenure as head of the National Counter-Terrorism Center, Gichangi fought tooth and nail against the creation of a Joint Terrorism Task Force
designed to bring police, prosecutors and intelligence experts into a joint team.

Lets be serious for a bit, shall we.

Now a rag tag Al-Shabab is running all over this country throwing grenades and all we can do is round up maids and put them in a shelter in Kasarani.

In the meantime, more grenades expected soon. And its you the citizens fault for not doing nyumba kumi properly.
