"The former PM was forced to go through the other entrance reserved for international departures and he had to remove his belt just like any other passenger" – Aide.

"I have just been assured by former PM that contrary to what is being circulated, he was NOT subjected to any disrespect at the airport".

The propaganda machine is back!!!

Upon his departure for South Africa former PM was accorded VIP passage and in RSA he has state protection as a reknowned Pan Africanist.

This is too much!!

If you insert your finger into a hole and get thoroughly bitten you don't return it back for a second time to the same hole. If the former PM does not understand this simple thing then he must be an idiot.

Or could it be that his confidants are the ones forcing him to play this circus? I thought he is old enough for it.

Reminds me of a certain Bill Gates who was in town sometime ago and nobody knew he was around until he was on his way back. He did not even bother about that VIP lounge which is making some guys here want to commit suicide!

This Raila guy seems to be addicted to the headlines/front page and is willing to get there at all costs...

From financing violence in Western to VIP lounges!! Sad

It might be time for an intervention...

I like Raila and I voted for him...I woud vote for him again if he stood... But tabia zingine...By using the normal lounges would that make him less of a Raila?... The saga of the Kisumu ferry way back comes back to mind! These are some of the reasons why we lost in the elections. We should learn to have the humility of Mother Teresa... Hear what Jesus said "But when you are invited, take the lowest place, so that when your host comes, he will say to you, 'Friend, move up to a better place.' Then you will be honored in the presence of all the other guests" Luke 14:10.
