So then where are CORD getting their numbers from? Any way of seeing the gazette online?
The current IEBC one shows last updated on 24th Feb, 2013.....maybe that is when these changes took place coz the gazzeted one the figure I posted and the total was 14337399 voters, this current one has 14352545 voters, wonder why we would have that big variance (more than 30% of the difference) from such a small constituency!
Ask urself when were voter registration anomalies adjusted...before or after gazette notice? Can numbers be adjusted after gazetting? That sounds illegal. I am sure after cleaning up the voter register numbers change - this seems to have been done way back in February this year, I see no mischief from the iebc side I'm no lawyer, but once something is gazetted, it cannot be changed. Pls correct me if I'm wrong. Business opportunities are like buses, there's always another one coming

I knew there was something wrong when I saw the main figures ending with zeros. I even called a TV station but they ignored it. They were rounded off by some lazy IEBC returning officer or someone who couldn't count. When counting people, the odds of this happening are unimaginable. BBI will solve it :)

I think Cord needs to concede defeat even despite the flaws experienced.
This is because an independent electoral body can only be established after great political reform.
It is now upon the constituent parties to restructure and proceed with the pursuit of reform in Kenya.
Court cases will only waste valuable time and elicit poor leadership in our country.
I believe Hon. Raila is capable of this kind of leadership which is just as demanding as the presidency.
I am also sure Hon. Kalonzo and Wetangula can play this role well.
Let there be peace and progress.

As an Auditor when cross checking figures we start our work around the rounded off figures. What do you mean by 24,000 and 17,500.What a coicidence. The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.

If no, then, what is the contention? If yes, how and when will it be changed? What are the implications of this? Everything will be lost. I ask that we all cool down. Let's heal our country.
