I think the problem might be with the FA, how do they explain this! http://www.dailymail.co....-Derrys-ban-stands.html
Here I blame Atkinson, by the rule book, the FA's hands are tied so long as the Ref says he saw the tackle!!! C & P "In the QPR game The ref was spot on, from his angle on sat Derry put his hands on youngs back, obvious goal scoring opportunity penalty & red card, the problem was the shocking decision by the assistant not to flag young offside and also young throwing himself to the ground when actually minimal contact (there is no way the ref can decide how much contact at full speed) Not the refs fault , assistant and young were in the wrong." ..."Wewe ni mtu mdogo sana....na mwenye amekuandika pia ni mtu mdogo sana!".

Ati the ref saw Balotelli's tackle but didn't see anything wrong with it.....hata Mancini said he expected his player to be charged by the FA.
C & P "The FA's two disciplinary decisions leave me shaking my head in despair but not surprise.
They insist that, when an offence occurs within the view of the match officials, they cannot take action.
Surely if Martin Atkinson and Andre Marriner had seen Mario Balotelli plant his studs down Alex Song's shin they would have sent him off. They are guilty of inconsistency and, when that is missing, common sense is required.
However, that was also absent when turning down QPR's appeal against Shaun Derry's dismissal." GRAHAM POLL

And yet remember Song being banned earlier in the season when the ref did 'see but did not see the full extent of it'? He who can express in words the ardour of his love, has but little love to express. - Petrach, Son. (That men by various ways arrive at the same end. - Montaigne, The Essays of.)

The FA are a bunch of nonesensical hypocrites. What happened to John The Racist? By the time the Euros are over Antoine Ferdinand will be a distant memory. They issued an apology to Wigan for the offside calls but failed to rescind Derry's red card. Huh! BEER IS LIVING PROOF THAT GOD LOVES US AND WANTS US TO BE HAPPY!

..but how can a red card be resinded remember it was against the great man united!! @mcreggae..the penalty was not against Dan Murphy but against Kelly, watch the replays properly and see Kelly clipped Kalou! I agree bout the offside, however remember Welbeck's dive in the penalty to award another penalty at the bridge? Thats the only way Man u can get a grip on a game that is slipping or get hold of a game that threatens to go either way!! @Smano..fine i erred on the Wolves stats, blame it on multi-tasking but you havent answered my question why they have more penalties than Barcelona? are Welbeck,Rooney,Valencia and Young better than Messi,Pedro,Sanchez,Villa? or is there something we are missing? The greatest danger in times of turbulence is not the turbulence; it is to act with yesterday's logic.

@Ric Dees, Why should Barcelona have more penalties that united? FYI chelsea had the highest number just the other day 09/10-----12 in total!!!!......and 04/05 Crystal palace had the highest number, again 12, did they have the best strikers in the league/europe???? ..."Wewe ni mtu mdogo sana....na mwenye amekuandika pia ni mtu mdogo sana!".

seems you are clutching onto some straws for the sake of it, the same link shows that as a team, united has scored the highest number of goal, 2nd highest shots on target and highest shot accuracy, that why United are great as a team!!!! ..."Wewe ni mtu mdogo sana....na mwenye amekuandika pia ni mtu mdogo sana!".
