But my friend, has anyone seen the charge sheet for anyone in these dinding business? Anyone please raise your hands. The only way for the court to interpret anything is for someone to be taken to court for it and the lawyers argue about it. So since this declaration, who has been charged? And for what? And under what section of the law? I can see they are trying to dig up the archives for anything dinding even 1975 when there was no dinding of feikos. Or are they simply imbaundin fiekos, charging no one and taking bribes? Jose: If I make it through this thug life, I'll see you one day. The Lord is the only way to stop the hurt.

Also...what constitutes "application"? Smoked windows that come as part of the cars factory specs? Does the glass portion of the sunroof constitute a window ?

So what happens is you say NO your car is NOT PSV, you are then given a cash bail of 10K and the case is taken to September and a few mentions in between, karas!

My CPA Intro to Law lecturer said that when 2 laws conflict, the more specific, less ambigous one is enforced. This is the spirit of law and has case precedence throughout the commonwealth. In our case here Section 54 is more specific by defining what tint is and prohibiti the same for public vehicles (which are also defined). Now, section 30 invites debate on what 'reflective' is. Completely transparent glass is reflective to some degree. According to physics, when light transits from a material of less density to more, some is reflected, until with more depth, total internal reflection is achieved. Kimaiyo is not very bright. He should hire competent legal advisors. He is operating in murky territory of impounding private property without charging people formally. If he prosecutes, he might find himself open to charges of abuse of office and get booted out. We wait and see.

C&P Quote:Owners of private cars with tinted windows also face the prospect of having to strip their windows of tint films – effectively pouring their heavy investments in car shades down the drain. Low- end of market auto window film costs about Sh12,000 while high-end tints that come with added safety, security and health features go for as much as Sh70,000. Which are these tints costing this much? Kwani zinakuja na Video screens? I think our hogwash press-men must have multiplied the figure given them by 10! Portfolio: Sold You know you've made it when you get a parking space for your yatcht.
