Now we should pile pressure for no pay for days not worked, then we should set a monitoring system to ensure our kids are safe from frustrated teachers and above all how to catch up on lost time without overburdenning the kids. We however are greatful to God that its over. Love is beautiful and so are those who share it.With Love, Marriage is an amazing event in ones life time, the foundation of joy, happiness and success.

Usi ichezee You see Wilson Sossion had to deal, as the KNUT chair he had to do what a leader had to do.....through the strike he made the right noise at the right time but the garment I believe out of tune declared the schools closed (Do they care?Care about what.Show me one of the kids of any of our top servants(lords)in a public school). The plan (shrewd) was to cut the pipe that feeds the teachers regardless of what the collateral damage would be.In this case (pupils, banks, landlords etc), with kids officially on holiday, the govt intended not to pay them their June and July salaries. Truth be said that is more than many of the teachers can handle.Their spirits would be broken, they would not meet all their obligations such as SACCO loans,Hire purchases, the local grocery store bill, rent ,electricity for some ,fare, etc.Beaten they would troop back ...crest fallen and beg for their jobs and pay.Sossion I think in his wisdom knew this, he understands an insensitive garment, full of showmanship and big egos...they will find someone to blame for the woes...he has carefully conceded (other options too grave) while getting something out of it: They will get their pay,No one will be fired, the court cases will be dropped, they will get some increment, kids will go back to school.....he simply knew when to quit and while at it his friend gets the headline: "Ruto negotiates to end the teachers strike" ..."Wewe ni mtu mdogo sana....na mwenye amekuandika pia ni mtu mdogo sana!".

One last thing to seal this strike nonsense: subtract salary for days out of work - pay them for only six days since they were out for 24! Nothing is real unless it can be named; nothing has value unless it can be sold; money is worthless unless you spend it.

That has never happened in adult life time for a strike called off.....unless in the 80s/early 90s!!!! ..."Wewe ni mtu mdogo sana....na mwenye amekuandika pia ni mtu mdogo sana!".

Sossion should be cited for contempt of court and jailed for 6 months. He can thump his bonny chest from there. Ndio hiwe funzo for following trade unionists blindly......... nobody should be paid for the days they were on strike. History will not remember you for your IQ. It will remember you for what you did. “Genius is 1 percent inspiration, 99 percent perspiration.” Thomas Edison

My focus and attention all this time has been on the kids and How they feel when their counterparts in private board buses and zoom of. I am still in support of private schools if this is what.

What a wasted 23 days!
This was one useless strike. It was all about the pay and nothing else. At least it would have been "coloured" with some calls to improve the facilities in our schools. Again, KNUT wasted a lot of time before coming to the negotiation table claiming that they were not willing to negotiate on negotiated terms. For all this circus,I fully support the move to sue these fellows for contempt of court.
