No. He said the voting process is essentially manual and begins with one walking physically to the polling station, picking a ballot, marking it and placing it in the ballot box

Yes. Like with all the elective posts, all one needs for those two is to be a good politician. Winning of cases or brilliance in court is not a requirement.


Politics is not a profession my friend. The guy has proven to his fellow learned friends that he is worth the salt.

Both the chair or LSK and the LSK representative to the JSC are elective posts. And he had to campaign for the same. And FYI his election to the latter (at least the one am aware of) was not based on his brilliance or winning of cases. If you ask most of those who voted for him, neither was a factor. End of the day, as with all elective posts it is all about politics.

It's called democracy. you asked for it, you get it. Marende was good in the house but his obsession with Mpigs salaries and perks was his downfall. At least in my view I will not miss him. Hope the new speaker doesn't go down that path. It's the Jubilee year ladies and gentlemen.


True wazuans tend to forget his "phylanthropy " and focus only on his negatives ..
Politics is just things to keep the people divided and foolish and put your trust in men and none of them can do nothing for you...

Fortunately there is no language known as Luhya.For example Khalwale and Oparanya cannot hold a meaningful conversation with each other in mother tongue as Khalwale speaks Idakho while Oparanya speaks Marama language.An extreme case is Eugene a Bukusu and Madvd a Maragoli.
